It all started on a beautiful Spring day in March. AJ and Rachelle’s wedding day was finally here. Rachelle and her ladies all got ready at the Double Tree Hotel in Bakersfield. These beautiful ladies shared some laughs, some tears and some more laughs throughout the morning. After that, we headed to The Links at Riverlakes Ranch for a sweet and romantic first look for Rachelle and AJ before their ceremony. One perk about doing a first look is you get the portraits out of the way! This leaves you with more time to enjoy cocktail hour later with your guests! THE STATION BAKERSFIELD WEDDING

We proceeded to The Station in Bakersfield to get ready for a fun-filled Wedding day. First up was their small and intimate wedding ceremony. Simply Chic Events did a wonderful job of facilitating and coordinating the wedding! An ASL interpreter was there for Rachelle’s father so he could join in the festivities as well. After the ceremony, the guests headed outdoors for a lovely cocktail hour complete with drinks and appetizers.

MORE FUN TO BE HAD

The guests headed inside shortly after that to enjoy an amazing dinner catered by the one and only NV catering. Tri tip, rice pilaf, home baked roll, house salad and an ice cold Coke filled our bellies after a long day’s work. After lots of dancing, yummy dessert and mingling, there was so much fun still to be had. NV Catering showed up once more with late night tacos for all the guests. The perfect way to stock up on some carbs for some more dancing!
