It’s always a pleasure to capture one of our favorite times of the year, the blooming of the Bakersfield almond orchards! This beautiful season is one of the local crazes of our little agriculture community. Bakersfield almond orchards are blanketed in ivory and pink petals as the aroma of almond honey fills the air. It’s one of the most memorable sights in the world, it truly appears as a mid-Spring daydream. Bakersfield’s almond orchards never disappoint and it’s truly a breathing experience.

THE PERFECT LOCATION

Daniella and Austen knew the exact look they were going for and wasted no time for their maternity session. Together, we sought out one of the most private orchards, untouched by the local crowd of bloom browsers that tend to draw towards the orchards this time of year. Their love was on full display as they exchanged kisses and smiles in the aromatic field of florals. It is clear that these two will become closer as they embrace parenthood, because their love for one another grows in each passing moment. We live to capture these kinds of memories, the beauty of a new family inspires us. Congratulations you two, you are going to be incredible parents!

Year after year, we look forward to these sessions. Not only because of their beauty, but because of the symbolism of the blooms.
