Santa Barbara is one of California’s most beautiful cities along Pacific Coast Highway, it’s a photographers dream! A true gem, this wonderful city on the coast offers some of the most incredible venues. One of our personal favorites is The Carousel House, a stunning beach front site. Once housing a full sized carousel, this iconic landmark has been around for more than twenty years! The unique and charming structure now houses some of the most impressive weddings throughout the year.

We packed our bags and hit the road for the Heisler wedding! Wasting no time, we made our way to Santa Barbara’s beautiful ocean front. The Santa Barbara Inn, a newly reimagined Spanish Mediterranean boutique hotel, blends classic elegance and coastal luxury. There couldn’t be a more fitting location for our stunning bride, Hillary, to get ready. Meanwhile, further down the road, her husband to be Mark is preparing for the best day of his life!

Your wedding is absolutely one of the biggest celebrations you will throw in your life. Additionally, it’s the one that family and friends will discuss for the rest of their lives. There is something about weddings that make our hearts sing! Perhaps it’s all the love in the air, the beautiful decor, or the fact that everyone dresses to the nines for one big party. Whatever the case may be, we know that these memories are meant to last a lifetime. So we work together with our bride and grooms to capture everything from start to finish.

Getting to “I Do”

Leading up to the ceremony, we work in tandem with every vendor to ensure that the best day of your life is seamless. This guarantees that your big day goes off without a hitch. Fortunately, with the team Mark and Hillary assembled this wedding was certain to be a show stopper that would flow smoothly. Also, the lovely couple had some beautiful taste! The florals were outstanding, the clean and modern color palette was flawless, even the live music was a stand out. We can’t praise Mark and Hillary enough for the talent we were surrounded by that day!

The Heisler’s shared an intimate wedding in the Plaza Lawn, front and center of the grand fountain the plaza has become known for. As you can imagine, passing crowds began to take notice of the gorgeous couple. And, who could blame them? They were absolutely stunning! Once they recited their vows, shared the first kiss and took their stroll down the aisle, Mr. and Mrs. Heisler took our breath away one more time. They snuck away from the crowd and the noise of the wedding for just a moment to be together. Breathing in the reality of it all and sharing a tender embrace. This is the kind of memory that lasts forever.

The moment those unforgettable doors of The Carousel House in Santa Barbara opened, the Ben Mallare Band was getting the crowd moving! Award winning bands for weddings, parties and corporate events The Ben Mallare Band has one of the most unique sounds we have ever encountered. Blending phenomenal vocals with live instruments, their energy is contagious! The entire reception welcomed Mark and Hillary to the dance floor and enveloped them in applause and love. They really know how to cut a rug!

Each table at the reception included home photos of Mark and Hillary throughout different phases of their life. It was certainly one of the most brilliant ideas for table decor we have ever seen! The photos really pieced their entire journey together and allowed everyone to feel even more attached to the union. If you are looking for new idea’s never forget that something as simple and personal can go a very long way!

The Heisler’s made this a night to remember. Of course the decor was beautiful, the venue was pristine and the band was world class. However, Mark and Hillary made this wedding that much more precious. The extra effort they put forth to ensure their love was center stage is what made it unforgettable. The photos at the tables, the moments alone together and the precious vows. These are the opportunities you have to make a wedding unique and even more memorable. These two knocked it out of the park.
