Getting into Yosemite requires a bit of preparation. First, you’ll want to make sure you have a reservation in the park. By summer of 2025, you will be required to make a reservation, so be on the lookout. Their website will have the most up to date and accurate information.

Follow Your Yosemite Photographer Into The Park

Another important tip we’ll leave you with is this. No matter which photographer you decide to hire for your Yosemite Elopement or Yosemite Engagement Session, it’s important to establish a meeting place with your photographer before entering the park. This is because cell service is extremely limited, it not, non-existent.

A central location like Fresno or Oakhurst will work great as a meetup point before heading into the park. Then simply follow each other into the park. This ensures no one gets lost, you’re on the same timeline, and the day flows smoothly from the very beginning.
