The day had finally arrived! We had been waiting for this cozy in-home newborn session from the moment we first heard the news. Alex and Brandon were expecting a baby! We absolutely love when our couples add to their little families, plus newborn photography is just too adorable. So we were literally counting down the days until we would get the opportunity to capture these images and meet Baby G for the first time.

Newborn photography isn’t something that we specialize in. However, we relish in the opportunity to capture these precious moments in the lives of our couples. There is just so much sentimental value in these images making these memories so much sweeter. Alex actually used the same room as a bridal suite of sorts the day of her wedding, and now it was a beautiful nursery for little Elliana. It’s those little details you can look back upon someday that make all the difference.

Brandon has taken his skills and tackled the diaper game like no other. He even utilized his swaddling prowess to comfort Elliana, which made for breath taking photos. Life in the Gallardo house has definitely got interesting with this little bundle of joy. We can’t express just how truly happy we were to play such a small part in telling their story. We know this family is destined for great things together because it was made with love.

So you see, these sessions don’t always have to include fancy studio set ups or elaborate outfits to make them adorable. Don’t get me wrong, those things do help to create memorable and stunning images. However, when it’s all said and done, an in-home newborn session can be just as breathtaking if not more so because it’s authentic and genuine just as the love you share.
