We are so humbled to hear that and cannot wait to document your beautiful day! To book, we will need a signature on our Wedding Day Contract which can be done online or in person and a deposit of at least $100. The rest will be spread out in monthly installments between now and your wedding. Once these two things have been turned in, cue the confetti because you are officially a #VSCOUPLE! Reach out to us here to get started on the booking process.
The hours of coverage will vary from wedding to wedding. Some couples lean towards 8 or more hours of coverage to ensure they have their entire day documented including those precious little moments. Such as, getting ready shots, first looks, exchanging of love notes and sparkler exits, etc. Consider the length of your ceremony and reception. We strongly suggest that your coverage lead you up until the middle of the dancing portion at the very least. Nobody wants to miss an opportunity to capture an intimate moment of grandma and grandpa slow dancing. If you purchased a smaller collection, you still have the option of adding on extra hours on the day of the wedding.
The typical turnaround time for weddings is approximately 4-6 weeks. We also have a rush option, where you'll get your wedding photos delivered in 24 hours after your wedding for an additional $850!
Hooray! We love to travel! The first question we'll ask you is, where are we going? That will ultimately determine the final cost of everything. If we are staying within city limits, don't worry about the travel fee. However, if we are driving more than 25 miles, the travel fee is $1.00 per mile traveled one way. Airfare and lodging fees apply for out of state sessions.
We'd still love to take some time to photograph you two in front of our camera. This allows us to get to know one another so that on the day of your wedding, you're already familiar with our workflow and you'll feel more relaxed. The engagement session is complimentary and included in your collection, so if you would rather use that towards something else, like an anniversary session or family session, we'd be happy to accommodate! However, it must be redeemed within one year from your wedding.
In short, yes! When requesting shots, keep in mind though that no two shots ever look exactly the same. Giving us the creative reigns also ensures that you have a truly unique image that is meaningful to you years down the road. We also accept Pinterest boards just to get a general idea of the mood/theme you are going for. A few weeks before your wedding, we'll also be sending you a Questionnaire to fill out. This helps us to understand what is most important to you on the wedding day, so that we can document the people and things most important to you. We will do everything in our power to photograph important moments from the day, but we make it a priority to capture the things you list in the Questionnaire.
Absolutely! Just let us know where to send it and we'll take care of the rest for you.
Yes! Reach out to us and let us know if there's something specific you need. We have lots of options available including flexible payment plans.
We are so honored you would like us to take your portraits! To book, we will need a signature on our Portrait Contract which can be done online or in person and a deposit of at least $50. The rest will be spread out in monthly installments between now and your session. Reach out to us here to get started on the booking process.
The typical turnaround time for portraits is approximately 1-3 weeks depending on the season we're in. Once you're photographs are ready, we will send you an email letting you know! Our portrait collections include an in-home viewing session, so we will schedule a time for you to come over and see your photos for the first time on the big screen! This will also be a good time to place any orders for tangible products.
Upon booking, we will send you our Style Guide which has all of our wardrobe recommendations! We aren't style experts by any means, but we do know a thing or two about what will look best in your photographs.
We typically avoid the use of props in our photos in attempts to capture true to life images. However, if your creative juices are flowing and you feel the use of props will add sentiment to your photos, we would be more than thrilled to incorporate them. We suggest using props that highlight the session. For instance, a maternity session may be enhanced by using ultra sound images, or babies first shoes whereas, a family session may do well with the use of a family quilt, or another heirloom item. We are certain anything that has sentimental value will really make your images beautiful and meaningful all at the same time.
Photo sessions can be particularly challenging for our younger audience, but not to worry. Here are some useful tips to keep in mind. Letting your toddler wander around, play with sticks, chase birds, etc. will result in more natural photographs that will result in us capturing a genuine reaction to things they love doing as opposed to having them try and sit still for a photo. It's all part of capturing their personality. Most little ones will cooperate best after they have eaten and are well rested. This will ensure your images have a wide-eyed, smiling bundle of joy! It's also a good idea to bring along their favorite blanket, toys, snacks or water in the event we have a few camera-shy moments. Toddlers can be quite energetic, so try to encourage them to run and play as much as possible before the session. They will always harness the right amount of energy when the camera is on, after all. You may also try to incorporate fun activities that will keep their minds occupied and their spirits lifted during their photo session. Maybe bring in a tube of bubbles for them! We try to make sure there is fun for everyone, which is why we try and have kids join in the photo session by playing fun games, i.e.: tag, getting tickled, etc.
Ladies: Styling your hair for a photos can be tricky if you aren’t a hair professional, but it doesn’t have to be. That’s why we always recommend getting your hair appointments in no later than one week before your session. Your hair will look at it’s best if grown out a little and simply curled or straightened out on the date of your session depending on what feels most natural to you. Having said that, working with a hair professional can easily be the most overlooked but is also the easiest to manage.
Gentlemen: Try and schedule your haircuts one week before your session if possible. This will ensure it looks as natural as possible and prevent it from looking "too fresh".
We've always felt that your photographs were meant to live beyond your screen. That's why we've made it easy for you to order prints directly through your online gallery. And what better way to view your photos than the walls on your home? Though we recommend going through our professional photographic lab, Costco provides decent photographs at an affordable price if you are on a time crunch. Some labs also require a print release from us, your photographers, in order to get your photos printed. That's why we include a Print Release in every one of our sessions as well.

Our clients love using PASS because they have an easier way of sharing photographs with their family and friends. Did we mention your photographs will be on there for a lifetime?!
